At Valley View we have eight Sports House Captains, two for each of our sports houses - Bradman, McKay, Laver and Fraser. House Captains are elected by the students in their house groups because they demonstrate excellent leadership in sport.
They are responsible for organising lunchtime sports equipment, running structured play activities during breaks, keeping the sports equipment up to date and the sports shed tidy, collect weekly house points and assist teachers in setting up stage sport.
At our major carnivals (swimming, cross country and athletics) House Captains encourage participation, teamwork, personal best and sportsmanship in all sporting activities and events.
