Last week in Federal Parliament, our local member for Dobell, Karen McNamara spoke about Valley View Public School. Mrs McNamara highlighted the efforts of our staff in changing our curriculum and teaching practices to suit modern learning ideas. She picked up on our motto of Innovation, Opportunity, Success and reinforced that everything she witnessed at our school was aimed at achieving this. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our staff, students and community, who are working extremely hard to make our school the best on the coast. We are at the beginning of a journey to improve the operations, learning environment, learning outcomes and opportunities for all of our students. This recognition from Mrs McNamara shows that we as a school community are moving in a positive direction.
