Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club has existed at Valley View Public School in a variety of forms since 2007 and has evolved over the years to what it is today. The Breakfast Club began when the P&C, in conjunction with the staff at Valley View, recognised a need to help ensure our students start their days with full stomachs. This supports their learning and behaviour throughout their mornings. Currently, the P&C works with the school canteen and Year 6 leaders in order to run and fund the Breakfast Club on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings serving toast from 8:30 until just before the start of school bell.

Since 2016 we have been incredibly fortunate to have partnered with the amazing Bakers Delight Wyoming. Each week they kindly donate their fresh and delicious loaves of bread to the P&C which is vital in allowing us to run the Breakfast Club.

We are always happy to welcome volunteers to assist in the running of the Breakfast Club, volunteering roughly from 8:15 - 8:50 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. If you would like to help out, please see the Declaration for volunteers and non-child related contractors and contact our P&C Vice President via email The P&C also has a position of Breakfast Club Coordinator, who works in conjunction with the P&C Executive Team members, particularly the Vice President to ensure the smooth running of the Breakfast Club. If you know of anyone who would love to volunteer and help us, or would like to volunteer yourself for this position, please feel free to contact our P&C Vice President who will gladly answer any of your questions. Please email them at

The P&C extends a genuine and warm thank you to each and every one of our volunteers, students, school staff members, sponsors and donors in helping us to ensure the continued service that is the Breakfast Club.
